കേരള കാർഷിക സർവ്വകലാശാല വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഉത്തമ കാർഷിക മുറകൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നെൽകൃഷിക്കായുള്ള പ്രോട്ടോകോൾ അവലംബിച്ചു നെൽകൃഷിയിൽ നിന്നും പരമാവധി വിളവ് ലഭ്യമാക്കുക, ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ള അരി ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുക, കർഷക തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ ലഭ്യതക്കുറവ് പരിഹരിക്കുക എന്നീ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ മുൻനിർത്തി വയനാട് കൃഷി വിജ്ഞാന കേന്ദ്രം പടിഞ്ഞാറത്തറ കൃഷിഭവനുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് കുപ്പാടിത്തറയിൽ ‘ നെൽ കൃഷിയിൽ ഡ്രോൺ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യ’യുടെ മുൻനിര പ്രദർശനം ഒരുക്കി. ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഞാറു പറിച്ചു നട്ട് 25 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞു ലിക്വിഡ് സ്യൂഡോമോണാസ് 5 മില്ലി 1 ലിറ്റർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ എന്ന തോതിൽ സ്പ്രേ ചെയ്തു. 10 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞു സമ്പൂർണ്ണ എന്ന സൂക്ഷ്മ മൂലക മിശ്രിതം 10 ഗ്രാം 1 ലിറ്റർ എന്ന തോതിൽ തളിക്കുന്നു.പറിച്ച് നട്ട് 40-50 ദിവസം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ സ്യൂഡോമോണാസ് 5 മില്ലി 1 ലിറ്റർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ എന്ന തോതിൽ തളിക്കുന്നു. 10 ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞു സമ്പൂർണ്ണ 10 ഗ്രാം 1 വെള്ളത്തിൽ എന്ന തോതിൽ തളിക്കുന്നു.
കതിര് നിരക്കുമ്പോൾ പൊട്ടാസ്യം നൈട്രേറ്റ് എന്ന വളം 5 ഗ്രാം 1 ലിറ്റർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ എന്ന തോതിൽ സ്പ്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
